Cancellation Policy

A little grounding before the dream takes over...

 

  • At the time of booking- your reservation is being held by the credit card provided and the full amount will be charged to your nominated payment method.

  • In the instance that you need to cancel your booking within 14 days of arrival, 100% of the first night will be charged. If you do not check-in for your stay or need to depart early, we do need to charge 100% of your full booking.

  • If you need to cancel your reservation within 30 days of your arrival, you have the option of transferring your reservation to a future date, subject to availability and demand. All reservations are non-transferrable.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to reserve a SHAK and any request for photo identification must match the name on the reservation. SHAK has the right to refuse any person, a full refund will be made if this is the case.

  • Rates quoted on our website are based on dynamic pricing, which may change based on demand.

  • All rates are displayed in Australian dollars and are based on two adults

  • The maximum capacity for any SHAK is two people.

Arrival and departure

 

  • Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is at 11am. Please support us in ensuring the SHAK experience of future guests by adhering to these times.

  • To ensure our amazing Housekeeping team have time to complete our cleaning schedule for new arrivals, we cannot offer late check-outs or early check-ins.

  • On Friday and Saturday nights, we ask for a minimum 2 night stay. At times during low-demand, and when shoulder reservations allow, we may be able to offer one night stays- please get in touch with us to discuss.

  • Given our rural setting, we ask that you are respectful of our land, and the people that live in these areas, including making any excessive noise upon arrival, during your stay or departure.

Fire Safety

 

  • Our SHAK’s are located in rural, and often bushfire prone areas. We ask that guests strictly adhere to total fire bans that are regulated by the local fire authorities. Should total fire bans restrict any stay dates, we will communicate this well in advance.
